This March I went to Willow Springs Raceway for the annual High Desert Vintage Race sponsored by VARA. I have been racing at WS for 40+ years and it is one of my favorite tracks to drive even if the weather is always challenging. As usual this time of year it was cold and windy! The race was challenging in that my throttle cable broke in qualifying so I had to start last, 28th. The advantage was an exciting race as I worked my way through the field. I finished 14th, 4th in class so all in all it was a fun weekend specially since my wife Bonnie attended. I always enjoy her company. Here is a link to a slide show of the weekend.

It has been a while since I have regularly blog but starting June 1st. I will be on a three month motorcycle trip with lots of photos and stories!
